The Water Quality Research Journal of Canada (published by the Canadian Association on Water Quality, CAWQ) publishes peer-reviewed, scholarly articles on the following general subject areas:
The Water Quality Research Journal of Canada is a quarterly publication. It is meant to be a forum for original research dealing with the aquatic environment. Articles from outside of Canada are welcome provided that they are of interest to the Canadian water quality research community.
To allow for timely exposure of accepted manuscripts and with Author permission, we post papers online that are ready for printing before the entire issue is ready for publication. These papers may or may not have page numbers added, can be found in our latest "Current Issue," and are accessible in full to all members of the CAWQ; the abstracts can be viewed by anyone. Once all manuscripts for an issue are complete, any missing page numbers will be added and the issue will be finalized. As soon as the first paper for the next issue is ready, a new "Current Issue" will be started.
The Water Quality Research Journal of Canada has moved to an online submission and peer review platform. All manuscripts must now be submitted online at http://www.editorialmanager.com/wqrjc.
If you have trouble using the online platform, please contact the Managing Editor for assistance.
